72507-94 is a genuine OEM rubber main wiring harness and headlamp strain relief grommet. It is primarily designed to protect electrical wires as they pass through metal housings, frames, or the headlamp bucket.
This grommet was first introduced in 1994 and has been used extensively on models spanning multiple decades. Fitments include:
- Sportster Models: Standard fitment on the main wiring harness and headlamp assemblies for most 1995–2003 Sportster models (XL, XLH, XL883, XL1200).
- Softail & Dyna Models: Used across various Heritage Softail, Fat Boy, and Dyna models (including the Wide Glide) from the mid-1990s and later.
- Touring Models: Frequently used on select Touring harnesses depending on the routing configuration
